Keep Your Camo From Fading
Hunting camo is expensive and can fade when not washed correctly. To keep your camo from fading, simply turn your camo clothing inside out before you throw it into the washing machine. Set the wash machine to a cold delicate setting and use baking soda as a detergent. After washing, do not dry your camo in the dryer, instead hang your clothes to dry, out of the sunlight. The dryer and sun can breakdown the fibers in your clothing, causing unnecessary fade and wear to your camo.
Another tip: when hanging your clothes, use a wooden or felt hanger that will hold the shape of your clothes without stretching the material. This is especially important when drying clothes because the added weight of water can cause additional stretching.
